Niagara University Theatre

Niagara University Theatre, the producing entity of the Department of Theatre and Fine Arts at Niagara University, has been proudly entertaining and educating audiences since 1964. Each season strives for great variety in our productions, ranging from classical to contemporary, musical to physical theatre, traditional to new works. Our productions provide students the opportunities to apply knowledge, skills, and techniques explored in class.

With a focus on learning, community access, and cultural connection, the Castellani Art Museum houses a permanent collection of over 5,000 works—including modern and contemporary art, Niagara Falls-themed pieces, and regional folk art. The museum offers year-round exhibitions, public programs, and educational experiences for visitors of all ages—from students to tourists to lifelong art lovers.

Niagara University Biomedical Research Institute Begins Cancer Research Collaboration

Dr. Mary McCourt’s research group (Niagara University Biomedical Research Institute) contacted Prof. Beatriz de Pascual-Teresa and Dr. Irene Ortín Remón Research group, Facultad de Farmacia, Universidad CEU San Pablo to explore opportunities for collaboration on cholestosome-based drug delivery strategies. This collaboration comes after Facultad de Farmacia, Universidad CEU San Pablo published research that caught the attention of Dr. McCourt and the Biomedical Research Institute.

Niagara University CMAA Student Chapter Again Named Best in the Country

Niagara University’s student chapter of the Club Management Association of America (CMAA) was once again named Student Chapter of the Year by the association at its World Conference and Club Business Expo, which was held Feb. 17-21 in Anaheim, California. It marks the 14th time in its 16-year history that the NU chapter has been recognized as the best in the country.
